Family Planning &
Contraception

Whether you're planning a family, thinking about becoming sexually active, or considering contraception, our doctors will talk through the options with you and help you decide what's right for your circumstances.

The contraception services we provide here at the clinic include:

Contraceptive Pill

Prescription and ongoing review of the combined and progestogen-only pill, matched to your health and needs.

Implanon Implant

Insertion and removal of the Implanon contraceptive implant — a small, long-acting implant that protects for up to three years.

Depo Provera Injection

The Depo Provera contraceptive injection, given here at the clinic and repeated every twelve weeks.

Not sure which option suits you? Book a consultation and we'll walk through the choices together — there's no pressure to decide on the day.

Shared Care With Your
Maternity Hospital

We provide antenatal care for pregnant women under the Mother and Infant Scheme, subject to HSE approval — you can apply at your initial appointment. Antenatal care is shared between your GP here and your maternity hospital, and includes your baby's 2-week and 6-week check-ups after birth.

Shared care means you don't choose between your GP and the hospital — routine check-ups happen here, while your hospital handles delivery and specialist care.
